Ride My Horse

From the Ride My Horse icon, you can choose to either take your horse out for a practice ride, or enter a show.
  • To practice or show, your horse must be Happy.
  • Jumping is tricky, so you will want to practice often.
  • How to jump:
    • Your horse moves automatically for you in the game, but you are in charge of making sure you and your horse get over the jumps safely! Press any button to jump.
    • If you are having trouble clearing the jumps, try jumping at slightly different distances before the jump arrives- you may find that one distance is the right one. Your horse's front and back legs can knock poles off.
    • You get Bonus points when you clear a jump, and Fault points depending on how many you poles you knock off.
    • An announcement will let you know when you are half way done with the course.
    • If you close your riding window in the middle of a ride, you will not get those points.
  • Practice: Practice is free and is a good way to get experience jumping before you show.
  • Shows: New shows are opened every 12 hours. You can only enter a show once. Shows have different levels: Easy, Medium and Hard. They also have entry fees (Horseland Dollars), so you will need to have enough money to be able to enter a show.

Be sure to keep your horse and it's stall clean. Don't forget that horse's love attention, so make sure you visit your horse often and take him riding to get some exercise!
